What we can help with
1. Health insurance in Thailand
Private hospital costs in Thailand have risen every year. We compare options such as lump-sum (inpatient) plans, plans with outpatient cover, and plans with a deductible to keep premiums lower. We explain waiting periods, pre-existing condition rules, co-payment conditions and how cashless claims work at Thai hospitals, so there are no surprises when you need to use it.
2. Insurance for visa requirements
Some long-stay visas require health insurance with minimum coverage set by the Thai authorities, and the rules have changed several times. We check the current requirement for your visa type, find a plan you can qualify for, and help you get the insurance certificate in the format the embassy or immigration office asks for.
3. Life, accident and critical-illness protection
If something happens to you, will your partner and children in Thailand be financially secure? We calculate how much cover your family really needs (debts, income replacement, housing, education) and design a plan that fits your budget.
4. Retirement planning
Planning to retire here? We map out how much you need, how long it should last, and how to turn savings into a steady monthly income in Thailand. Try our free retirement gap calculator (Thai) to get a first idea.
5. Thai tax planning
If you live in Thailand for 180 days or more in a tax year, you are generally a Thai tax resident. Thai tax residents can use deductions such as life, health and annuity insurance premiums, and the rules on foreign income brought into Thailand changed from 2024. We help you understand what applies to you and plan legally. For complex cross-border cases we recommend also speaking with a tax specialist.
Can foreigners buy insurance in Thailand?
Yes. Many Thai insurers accept foreigners who live in Thailand with a valid visa or work permit and a Thai address. Acceptance, age limits and required documents differ by insurer and plan. Premiums are paid in Thai baht, and claims can be made at hospitals across Thailand. We will tell you honestly what you are likely to qualify for before you apply.

Frequently asked questions
Do you speak English?
Yes. Consultations, explanations and documents can be in English or Thai.
I already have international insurance. Do I still need Thai insurance?
Not always. International plans can be excellent but expensive, and some visa offices ask for specific certificates. We can compare your current plan with local options and tell you honestly whether switching or topping up makes sense.
I am over 60. Is it too late?
Options become fewer and more expensive with age, but plans for older applicants exist. The earlier you start, the more choice you have.
Is the consultation really free?
Yes. There is no fee and no obligation to buy.
